FAMILY BAT NIGHT
Family bat night can be a family affair. Lindsey from Norfolk and Norwich Bat group joins us to focus on all things bats! there will be crafts fro the kids and an informative talk about our winged friends to dispell some myths and shed some light on how they live. Once the talk is finished and the sun has gone down we´ll distribute her bat detection equipment and set off on a walk around the gardens and see what we can fine. The detection moniters will register frequencies and this will allow Lindsey to identify what species we have flying around.
- Please arrive around 10 minutes before the event strat time.
- Plan weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.
- While we have various species of bats in the gardens we have no control over how many will be detected on any given night.
- The walk normally finsihes around 10-10:30pm.
